Hey!Spread API updated
February 9, 2008 – 12:36 pmHi people,
The Hey!Spread API has been updated, here are the changes:
Credentials checking
To know if the credentials are valid or not. This is very convenient because a lot of people are not sure about their credentials.
See the doc
Job restart
You can restart a job only if it’s done. This could be convenient to restart if there are some FAIL with no explanation or timeout error.
See the doc
Note that these two features were already present in the interface.
We’ve also added a PHP sample (really simple). You can see all the examples here.

HeySpread RULES!!!
Only one itsy bitsy thing. pleeeeeeeze! Put a checkbox on the page where we’re inputting credentials to give an option to save them to our account so we don’t have to retype every time.
Did I mention HeySpread rules???

Infoimp, thank you for your comment.
The option is planned for the next (big) release.

It would be good to get statistics on views for all submitted videos (by service if possible), especially in the API
